Store Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Furey Smyth Group, a large independent retail group as a Store Manager in our EUROSPAR Hartstown Store, Dublin. The company consists of 8 large retail stores in Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny and Clare.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a vibrant and busy environment and is ready to lead and deliver through a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day to day management of all store operations

• Achieving store targets and KPIs

• Ensuring excellent customer service and customer experience in all aspects of the store

• Merchandising and maintaining visual standards across all departments

• Stock control

• Prioritising store security

• Driving a health and safety culture within the store and ensuring compliance       

• Training, supervising and motivating a team of sales assistants

Key Requirements:

• Previous retail management experience

• Operational knowledge of retail environment

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• A keen understanding of consumer needs

• Understanding of employment, health & safety , HACCP, and consumer legislation an advantage

• Committed to continually improving standards

• Self-motivated & ambitious

• Computer literate
