Trainee Manager - Full Time

EUROSPAR Hartstown, Hartstown Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, D15H6CF is looking for a full-time Trainee Manager to join their fantastic team.

An Exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing independent retail group as a Trainee Manager in our EUROSPAR Hartstown Store. The company consists of 8 large retail stores in Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny and Clare with over 350 employees. This is a full- time role and successful applicants must be fully flexible to work hours to meet store requirements. Must be available for evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the supervision of the retail sales team on a daily basis.

• Ensure high quality and consistent customer service is provided at all times.

• Assist in the implementation of in-store sales and promotions

• To assist in the supervision of induction/training of employees.

• Ensure stock management procedures are adhered to including ordering, checking in and
  stock rotation

• To assist the Store Manager in preparations for stock take, minimising stock loss through
  wastage, damages and pilferage.

• Help ensure food management and waste systems are adhered to by retail sales team.

• To know/understand company policies and procedures, to help ensure they are implemented
  effectively by retail sales team.

• To undertake other additional duties as may be assigned by the store manager.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Retail/Customer Service experience an advantage however Full Training will be provided.

• Management / supervisory experience an advantage but not essential

• Ability to work on own initiative.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Understanding of health & safety & HACCP and advantage

• Computer literate
